The internal audit team has strong data analytics offering and over recent years the data analytics team has grown substantially. The team dynamic is key to its success with clear evidence of genuine collaboration between IT Audit; Data Analytics and Operational Audit verticals ultimately offering recommendations, value to the audit committee and senior stakeholders in the group.

Within the team there is a real sense of best in class with each co-worker continuously looking to broaden their skills and competence. More specifically, the IT Audit function the leadership is seeking to attract 'T' shaped people, meaning those with a breadth of experience across IT and Audit (including use of analytics), but just as important is someone who possesses subject matter expertise in a certain area, such as SAP or MS technologies. For the current need, it is essential that you will have an understanding of business processes, corporate governance, audit principles and standards.

Ideally you will have experience with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA and knowledge of SAP data structures. Our client is looking for an individual with the genuine interest in the application of data analytics to improve business performance, ideally with experience with data preparation and analytics tools such as Alteryx, SQL, SSIS ACL and / or data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

As the function is built on team spirit, it is paramount any individual who joins has advanced soft skills. This has always been important, but even more during the hybrid work patterns and remote working we are experiencing now. It is necessary someone can evidence positive interaction with their team, working collaboratively, communicating clearly and demonstrate a can-do attitude with their co-workers. This element of the role is essential, because these soft skills underpin all of the other work you do.
