Cyber Security Analyst

We're hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security team to continue the development of our security roadmap, run internal training campaigns, maintain/monitor security tooling, manage DSAR requests and prevent cyber exploits and attacks.

This is a chance to add more highly skilled commercial experience to the security team by adding your experience in cyber security, such as ethical hacking, pen testing, Tooling, DevSecOps and phishing campaigns. All to ensure the security of the omni-channel Footasylum business.

The Team
The Information Security team has implemented a number of key initiatives, processes and platforms this year. We work closely with 3rd party suppliers to ensure we have the right tools to protect the Footasylum business and our customers data. The team have been running initiatives for training staff with phishing campaigns and data security.

Here are some of the things the team has been working on recently, to give you an idea of the kinds of things you will be doing:

  • Implementing an enterprise SIEM and working with a SOC,
  • Improving data governance standards,
  • Working with development teams for code analysis and pen testing,
  • Creating phishing campaigns specific to the current climate and business,
  • Implementing Mobile Device Management,
  • Security of APIs and Bot Detection,
  • Implementing end point protection and policies.

The success of the role heavily relies on communication and collaboration across multiple areas of the business. About You
Within your current organisation, you love being part of a team and coming up with new ideas and initiatives. Your organised and methodical when it comes to the detail in tasks. You support those around you, you are constantly learning and work in a kind, considerate and collaborative manner with a keen interest in new ways of working.

The ideal candidate would have strong experience of cyber security in online retail, seeing how a fast-paced changing environment can adapt and adhere to best security practices and processes. You will have experience of all the tools required such as a SIEM, End Point Protection, Data Governance, WAF's, Network Firewalls, Vulnerability Management and Pen Testing. You will also bring a new set of skills such as ethical hacking.

Everyone knows you across your business. You are happy with presenting your findings and ideas to senior level just as much as coaching juniors who are new to the cyber security role.

Salary & Benefits
We are offering a salary of up to GBP40,000 for the right person, which we assess based on your own experiences, technical skills and against the principles of our department and our ways of working.
