The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC), on behalf of a Top 10 practice firm, is recruiting for an IT controls Manager based in Birmingham.
As a Manager you will be working closely with supportive senior management to ensure that appropriate scoping and planning has been carried out to deliver audit requirements, whilst reporting to the respective Partners. You will play a central role in coaching, training, mentoring teams and leading IT engagements using complex and advanced data analytics. You will be joining a team who is at the forefront of technology and will be assessing complex IT risks and controls of a variety of corporate and mainly financial services clients. This is an exciting opportunity to also use and enhance your expertise across IT governance, Cybersecurity and Business Continuity.
As a successful candidate you will be CISA qualified and your core skillset will include experience in IT general controls, supporting External and Internal Audit engagements. It is advantageous to have experience in sectors such as banking, insurance, technology, other financial services, manufacturing and retail. It is essential that you have experience in designing, reviewing and performing controls testing in a Top 30 Accountancy firm or a commercial business.
