The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been recently engaged by a prestigious FTSE 100 Financial Services and Insurance company in the Midlands area to recruit for an IT auditor to join their expanding team. As an established company they pride themselves on good customer care and provide a generous work life balance for their employees.
Roles and responsibilities
The role will require identifying improvements in the effectiveness and efficiency of IT operations and controls across the business. The successful candidate will be performing various IT audits therefore experience in this necessary. There will be zero travel involved in this role and it will be paying circa £48K.
As this is a fast growing team a junior member will be joining the team and therefore this position will offer management experience in the near future.
Strong communication skills are required in order to provide technical guidance to other colleagues and to senior stakeholders when necessary.
Technical ability including general controls, IT project management, IT processes and controls and DRP.
CISA qualified or equivalent is preferred.
Previous exposure to COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL and CAAT’s will be an advantage.
Ideally looking for someone from practice with exposure in IT audit/ technology risk with 3 years of experience but this is not necessary.
