Controls Senior Manager - Big 4

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been mandated by one of the Big 4 to help recruit a Controls Senior Manager to join their leading risk assurance practice. Working across their top tier clients, you will be providing assurance to many of the UK's biggest and most successful corporate organisations. Alongside working with many of the FTSE 100 you will also be involved with providing solutions for US listed businesses.

You will be using your knowledge of business, finance and IT to identify risks and create plans to support clients with their corporate governance. The controls team plays a key role supporting both the audit assurance and consulting type of assurance to non-audit clients.

You will be responsible for client engagements, leading financial control projects and running large testing teams as part of SOX and non-SOX statutory audits. You'll also lead non-audit finance transformation and compliance implementation programs. You will be expected to own and strengthen client relationships and be able to manage senior stakeholders.

As the ideal candidate you'll have developed core skills in a wide range of disciplines including audit, compliance, application and support of information technology, risk evaluation and project governance. Being CISA/ACA/ACCA qualified is preferred but not essential. It is expected that you will have experience in delivering the assessment or the implementation of control frameworks e.g. COSO, COBIT, SOX is. Extensive experience in controls risk assessment and review (IT and/or Business Processes in Audit or Advisory, and an understanding of current and emerging technology trends is also preferable.
