Fantastic new permanent opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with a broad background in IT and Network Security. My client are a specialist analytics business based in Glasgow who are expanding their information security team due continued growth.

As part of the wider Cyber Security team you will use industry standard security tools to monitor, analyse and report security incident & event management (SIEM), vulnerability management, network, server, endpoint and application activity in order to adequately manage security risk for the business.

Main responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage security applications and risk
• Develop and tune alerts and security tooling
• Perform vulnerability assessments and scanning
• Manage monitoring of corporate network
• Assess security design within systems, applications and networks
• Provide security awareness and training as required
• Provide security consultancy internally
• Perform security reviews as part of ISMS and ISO 27001 audit requirements

Skills Required:

• Proven experience within a similar Cyber Security Analyst position
• Experience in Cyber Security and enterprise defence strategies
• Good technical knowledge and experience with SIEM, IDS, DDoS, Malware Protection and Vulnerability Management
• Network security knowledge and experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Sound understanding on ISO27001 and security framework (desirable)
• Experience of working in a SOC environment (desirable)
