Security Engineer - Cyber Security/Networking/Patching - London
My financial services client based in London has an exciting opportunity for a Security Engineer to join the existing Security team in maintaining high level security across the companies network.
Your role will include testing vulnerabilities within the network, formulating and implementing remediation plans for internal and external vulnerability assessments and managing several security devices.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience within an IT Engineer or Security Engineer role
- Networking experience with the ability to set up Firewalls (ideally Palo Alto)
- Cyber Security experience
- Patching experience
Nice to have/opportunity to learn
- Vulnerability scanning
- SIEM & Intrusion Detection
- Powershell to write basic test scripts
- Nmap
- TCP IP for Internet addressing
- Wireshark
The working hours for this role will be 7.30 - 6pm with occasional weekend work.
