Cyber Security Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing IT support knowledge and experience who is looking to start a successful and exciting career in Cyber Security!
The Cyber Security Analyst is an exciting new role at the core of our new security monitoring service. You will be responsible for tickets and alerts generated by our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform, responding quickly and liaising with clients directly to explain, investigate and remediate threats. You will prepare client reports on a monthly basis to demonstrate the value of the service and make recommendations to improve clients' security position, making sure that the client feels well communicated with, in a manner that hasn't made them feel silly!
The feeling you leave the client with after your call, will often form a large part of that clients opinion of our firm. To our clients, you are ramsac!

As well as having a solid technical background with experience managing tickets in a support type environment, the following skills are critical for the role:

Keen interest in security, with a good understanding of fundamental concepts and eagerness to stay up to date with the changing security landscape and emerging trends or vulnerabilities.
