Senior Technology Auditor
My client are global organisation with 34 offices in 12 global locations. This role sits in the Leeds office, taking ownership of IT Audit and reporting to the Head of IT Audit withing a wider (and growing) team of 7.
The Senior IT Internal Auditor is primarily responsible for the Internal audits of the Group in relation to compliance with information technology policies, procedures and controls including information/cyber security.
You will conduct IT audit engagements in accordance with best practices methodology and professional standards including planning, fieldwork and preparing the written internal IT audit reports, which will be subject to review and approval by the Audit Committees, that set out the critical control weaknesses, the important control weaknesses and the areas for improvement identified during onsite audits;
You will provide and communicate findings and recommendations for improvement in those areas where opportunities or deficiencies are identifie and you will proactively conduct follow ups with action plan owners to ensure audit recommendations are implemented on time in a manner that address the related risk.
This role works very closely with the business in a 'business partnering' approach, allowing you to maximise value you can offer by helping the business to improve controls and reduce risk.
My client are looking for:
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in providing Information Technology and Security assurance and/or equivalent IT and security experience
Sound knowledge of IIA/ ISACA standards and practice advisories and Information Security principles, IT technologies, Cloud technologies and related risks
In-depth knowledge of compliance standards and governance frameworks including but not limited to Cobit, ITIL, NIST, ISO
CISA would be beneficial but the business are happy to pay for quaification • Efficient management and execution of the engagements as well as Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills and able to work independently
