IT Resilience & Cyber Security Analyst AVP

Venn Group are currently recruiting for an IT Resilience & Cyber Security Analyst position to work within a bank in London. This position is an Assistant Vice President-level role.

This position is focussed on auditing and improving the IT Resilience Governance and Controls framework, improving on and making recommendations to improve procedures, and working with stakeholders across the business to roll out policy changes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within stringent regulatory environments within the Financial Services industry, with exposure to FCA/PRA-driven change being highly advantageous. Additional exposure to European Regulations would also be beneficial.

This Analyst position requires collaborating within a wider team all working towards collective goals; they will be required to manage their workload independently whilst also working to deadlines.

Candidates must demonstrate a successful track record of project analyses completed within the Governance, Cyber Security, IT Security, Risk and Controls areas.

The bank's Technology Resilience framework needs a skilled Cyber Security Analyst with experience reviewing internal policies and procedures, able to make recommendations to assure the business remains compliant with internal and external regulatory pressures.

The candidate will be required to develop Risk Management procedures, assuming responsibility for control designs, implementation, and assurances, therefore they must demonstrate knowledge of implementing new policies across businesses.

This role sits between multiple business units and will require excellent communication skills in order to concisely and accurately deliver effective policy changes in a timely manner. Candidates with experience presenting major policy updates and complex ideas succinctly, at all levels of seniority, would do well in this position.
