Our client is currently expanding their IT Audit function in New York City and are looking for an experienced IT Auditor to join their team.
The IT Audit landscape will cover everything from infrastructure, applications, general controls, cyber security etc
You will enjoy a lot of autonomy in this role and be part of a niche-focused IT Audit team within this leading international bank.
Day to day activities include:
I - Conducting of IT Audit assignments.
Willing to be hands-on where required in all IT layers mentioned above.
II - Team management
Providing regular feedback to the Auditor
Senior Auditor, when supervising one or several Auditors is responsible for training the Auditors on the audit techniques
Providing regular feedback to the Auditor
Ensuring collaborative and productive relationships within the team
Management and Reporting
Reporting directly to the Head of IT Audit for Americas.
Role-specific requirements
• Auditing techniques
• Understanding of the risks generated by banking/securities activities
• Specific skills/knowledge on IT and IT risks
• Ability to perform basic coding in Python, Java, Javascript.
• Ability to perform data analytics using spreadsheets, databases, Python, PowerBI
• Familiarity with commonly used tools such as ServiceNow, vulnerability scanners and penetration testing tools etc
