Cyber Security Engineer

Security Engineer- (Hybrid office / remote) - GBP50,000 with higher salaries considered

The Security Engineers has a dual responsibility, to firstly provide technical ownership for Security focussed technologies, and secondly to help deliver Cyber services for MSP customers. The role requires close collaboration with various people within the security and infrastructure team to work towards resolution, often of a senior level within the business.

About you:

Ideally you will have some of the following:

* Work experience as a Systems Engineer or Information Security Engineer ( firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.)
* Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
* Analytical skills
* Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security degree (or similar)
* Industry recognised Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISMP, CCSP, SSCP)
* Technical related qualifications (e.g., Azure Specific certifications, GSEC)
Qualifications from adjacent areas (e.g., PRINCE2, ITIL)

We also welcome candidates who have less experience as there is excellent training available.
