IT Audit Manager, Investment Management, London, £85,000

This newly created role is an opportunity for an experienced IT Audit professional to really take ownership of the IT Risk and Controls environment for an established international financial services business, replacing a long standing outsource relationship.

Reporting directly to the Chief Auditor, you will be responsible for assessing the IT risk environment and devising an IT Audit plan. This is a hands-on role so you must also be happy in the delivery of the IT Audit plan where you will have ownership of all key stakeholder relationships and have budget for the use of co-source support.

The Audit team are setting this new role up to succeed. You will have support where required from experienced IT Audit leaders working in the corporate head office in the US. You will have local business audit leaders on hand to guide you through some of the aspects of the annual audit planning process which you may not have done much of before. And co-source IT Audit support is available to cover gaps in technical knowledge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong IT Auditor from either a professional services or in-house background, to step out from someone's shadow and take a higher degree of ownership, plus operate with greater autonomy than they may be able to in their current role. Your IT Audit skills are what's in demand. You may have gained your experience outside of financial services or in another branch of financial services. You will learn the intricacies of the investment management industry in the role if you don't have that experience already.

There is no travel required and the team works flexibility with a new post-covid, hybrid working model.
