The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC)* has been mandated by our client, a leading Financial Services Brand continuing a sustained period of growth, in their search for a Senior Audit Manager to focus on Technology Quality Assurance.
Reporting into the Head of Professional Practices, you will deliver quality assurance reviews on technology audits, providing independent and robust review and challenge on the audit teams' assurance work covering technology audits (e.g., cybersecurity, IT resilience, system software lifecycle events, infrastructure and architecture and technology change).
You'll apply your knowledge and expertise of technology risks and controls, audit methodologies and good practices in the delivery of your quality assurance work, and work collaboratively with audit teams across the function to improve quality and adopt best practices.
This position offers exposure to Audit Leadership across multiple areas and locations and therefore offers great scope for career development and you will be working with an Audit function looking to achieve best practice within the function.
Background Requirements:
- Good understanding of technology risks and experience of delivering technology and change audits within a major financial institution.
- Previous experience of IT general controls and / or application controls testing.
- Demonstrate experience in seeking and implementing new ways of working to make processes run smoother and faster for example experience in the use of Data Analytics and / or Agile ways of working.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of audit and leadership team.
- Interest in Internal Audit Methodology & Standards
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
