Senior IT Auditor - Global FTSE 100

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company is working with an established FTSE 100 Industrial company to help them grow their IT Audit team. After establishing an IT Audit function earlier this year, they are looking to add a Senior IT Auditor to join the company on a permanent basis.

The role will be part of the Internal Audit team, which is responsible for providing assurance over the financial, operational and Technology control environment of the Bunzl Group to the Audit Committee.

The appointee will have the opportunity of joining a FTSE100 international group of companies and will be responsible for conducting a variety of risk-based IT audits. Based in London, the role will require international travel of between 25-40%. This travel will be varied and be a mixture of long -haul and short-haul. No travel will take place with a through risk assessment and therefore it is unlikely that the team will travel before the international pandemic has subsided.

The duties of this position will be to deliver end to end IT audits in line with the annual Internal Audit plan, collaborating with key technology stakeholders across five Business areas, and supporting the IT Audit Manager in the preparation of Audit Committee papers and other reports.

Required Skills and Experience

The candidate will have:

• a background in IT risk and audit assurance, preferably from internal audit
• experience in performing IT audits relating to information security
• experience working in dynamic, large complex organisations that are across different cultures
• the ability to influence and partner audit stakeholders to agree and drive actions to completion
• Able to speak Spanish and/or French would be an advantage.
