As the Cyber Security Stakeholder Manager you will lead on the development of our stakeholder engagement strategy and plans, utilising your experience and skills to develop impactful and meaningful products to support our stakeholder management across HMG.

You will directly support the Operations team in the delivery of key marketing material to support their outreach to departments, as well as managing the regular drumbeat of communications to key stakeholders and wider

The Stakeholder Manager (Cyber Security) will report to the Cyber Security Engagement Lead.

Job description

  • Working with Head of Enabling Capabilities and Head of Operations on the development of stakeholder engagement strategy and plans.
  • Development and delivery of communication material to support operational objectives.
  • Work with external design agency on the further development of brand materials to ensure consistency and professionalism in all Cyber GSeC external facing collateral.
  • Provide stakeholder management/engagement advice and guidance to Cyber GSeC members to ensure consistency of message and improved interactions with customers across HMG.
  • Work with Operational Team to develop Cyber security focused campaigns and educational material for use across government.
  • Act as SPOC for cross government communications platforms.
  • Represent the Cyber GSeC at relevant cross government working groups.

Responsibilities

It is essential that candidates:

  • Have experience in developing and implementing plans to engage a range of internal and wider government stakeholders'.
  • Have strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Are self-motivated and have a positive and professional approach to stakeholder management.
  • Are proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and understand how to use individual applications to best support communications outputs.
  • Have experience of working in a pressurised environment with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

It is desirable that candidates have the following:

  • Experience of working within the public sector, ideally in central government.
  • An understanding of the Government Security Function.
  • An understanding of business change and how effective communications can positively influence behaviour.
  • Experience of working with external graphic design agencies.
  • Experience of using design tools (such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign).

  • 22 days leave (pro rata for part time staff), which increases to 25 after a year's service and 30 days after 10 years' service.

Team members that are moving offices as a result of the Locations Programme will be entitled to a Moves Adjustment Payment for three years where they incur additional costs. This is calculated based on the difference between the costs of travelling to and from the new and old office, over a weekly period. You will get more detail on this as part of targeted locations move communications.
