You'll work as an integral part of the Group Internal Audit Team (GIA) supporting the Group Head of Internal Audit, carrying out audit work to assess, monitor and report on the effectiveness of the Group's internal control environment. You'll lead responsibility for GIA's work relating to the Technology and Change aspects of the Group - both the audit plan and ad hoc business support - and associated stakeholder relationships.

Description

The Lead Auditor's responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • You'll assist in the development of an Audit Universe and drive the development of the Annual Audit Plan.
  • You'll own, lead, plan, carry out and report on Internal Audit assignments as set out in the Group Internal Audit Plan (especially relating to Technology and Change).
  • You'll build and maintain influential relationships with senior digital technology / change stakeholders.
  • You'll ensure quality control over audit reports and other key deliverable documents.
  • You'll complete risk-based ad-hoc investigations and business support activities as required by the Group Head of Internal Audit.
  • You'll drive continuous improvement and development of departmental processes and policies.


Profile

The successful Lead Auditor should be;

 

  • CISA qualified
  • You'll preferably have demonstrable audit experience in matters of information security, operational resilience and technology transformation.
  • You'll have an understanding and practical application of ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
  • You'll have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You'll be a strong communicator (verbally and in writing).
  • You'll have an analytical approach to delivering pragmatic and practical solutions to control issues.
  • You'll have a demonstrable track record of delivering to deadlines
