Principle Information Security Analyst

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Information Security Analyst to join a global financial services organisation who are looking to grow their security team.

The Principle Information Security Analyst will join a large security team and will ensure compliance with technical security standards and baselines for technology, communications, infrastructure, cloud services and applications.

Reporting to the Information Security Officer, the Principle Information Security Analyst will complete risk assessments for projects, exception requests and change control processes, including reviewing vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

The successful applicant will also lead on reporting on security performance metrics.

Principle Information Security Analyst – Essential Requirements:

• Security principles/framework knowledge (ISO27001, PCI, NIST, COBIT etc)
• Strong technical understanding of security operations
• In depth knowledge of security products, such as:
• SIEM
• AV
• Security gateways
• Firewalls
• Load–balancers
• ACLs
• Routing and switching
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud security controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication
