IT Internal Controls Specialist (ITGC)

This IT Internal Controls role is with a well-known, household name brand in south Birmingham who are continuing to expand their Internal Controls function.

Reporting into the Internal Controls Manager, you will play a key role in driving increased levels of maturity into the Internal Control environment across the business as well as acting as a key stakeholder for any data and technology-centric projects. These projects may include system migrations/implementations or the building of a new Data Platform. You will look at Identity & Access Management across a range of systems including SAP, Active Directory, warehouse management software and stock systems. You will also play a role in actioning any recommendations made by IT Audit. There is no travel required of this role but you will be required to work in the south Birmingham office 1-2 days/week.

You will hold a relevant qualification (CISA/ACA/ACCA) with experience in a Controls Advisory role. Solid knowledge of IT General Controls is highly preferential. Prior experience in a Big 4/Top 10 practice firm is desirable, as is exposure to SAP. Candidates from an IT Audit background will be considered.

The salary package on offer is £50,000-£60,000 + £5,000 car allowance + 15% bonus.
