Information Security Analyst

A large well–established organisation is looking for a proven Information Security Analyst to be part of a dedicated in–house Infosec team tasked with covering security architecture, incident response, vulnerability management, IT governance, and legislative compliance as well as maintaining security training and awareness. This is a hybrid role both working from home, approximately 3 days per week, and from their City, London office.

Duties for this Information Security Analyst role will include:

• building collaborative working relationships with different areas of the organisation to enhance the security capability

• managing incidents on a case by case basis, ensuring risks are identified and managed in line with legal obligations

• supporting management of digital brand risks

• helping scope and facilitate a security testing programme

• investigating and managing risks

• analysing any threats the organisation might face

• reacting to alerts from data leakage prevention tools

• assisting with supplier vetting, audits and carrying out due diligence

• maintaining a close alignment with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials standards

In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience as an Information Security Analyst, Cyber Intelligence Analyst, InfoSec Consultant or similar role with knowledge of information security techniques. It is essential to have experience identifying root causes of security & data breaches as well as knowledge of data protection legislation.

This is a key role in a large well–established organisation with an extensive digital transformation programme. This Information Security Analyst role is paying up to GBP37,500 plus benefits including bonus, pension, life assurance, income protection and medical.
