The Global Information Security team is responsible to drive the development, deployment and management of information and cyber security across the Computershare businesses, globally.

Through partnerships with the business units, technology and other support functions, the Global Information Security team actively support achieving the business objectives whilst reducing the overall composite security risk to Computershare.

A role you will love

The Global Information Security Manager will be responsible for the management of the global supplier security assurance team. You'll manage and develop the supplier security assurance portfolio of services and contribute to department Information Security initiatives.

The role will have a broad remit that will include accountabilities such as the supporting of audits, risk management, assurance, service / control management and the delivery of change.

You'll be managing a globally focused team and working closely with the procurement function to enable effective management of our supply chain risk. The role will be a balance of both managerial and operational duties where you'll be expected to undertake security assurance assessments.

Given the nature of the role applicants must be willing to travel to other locations (including foreign travel).

Some other key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing towards the Global Supplier Security Assurance function strategy
  • Identification and delivery of continuous improvement
  • Management, coaching and development of others
  • Leading & supporting on internal/external audits, third party management, supplier security assurance and more


What will you bring to the role?

As the Global Information Security Manager, you will have to have a strong background in Information Security and Risk Management and a willingness to continue to develop within this.

With a team of analysts reporting into you, you will need to be a strong leader who can mentor and develop people.

Stakeholder engagement will be key for this role as you will be communicating with all areas and levels of the Computershare business as well as external parties and suppliers.

Some other skills and experiences we're looking for include:

  • Experience working in a role within Information security and risk management.
  • A good knowledge of supplier security assurance.
  • Knowledge of information security standards such as ISO27001.
  • At least one professional information security qualification such as CISM / CISSP.
  • A true leader who can influence, inspire and deliver improvement.
