Head of Privacy & Counter Fraud

Our client, one of the UK's largest consultancy firms is looking for a Head of Privacy & Counter Fraud to join their well-established team.

Key elements of this role include:

• Reporting into board level (Director of Information Governance & Counter Fraud) and managing a small team (3 Privacy Manager, 1 Counter-Fraud Specialist & administrative support)
• Leading and developing a Counter Fraud programme, aspiring to meet the GovS-13 Counter Fraud Standards
• Full responsibility for the day-to-day data protection for the business and providing expert advice
• Conducting data protection impact assessments
• Assessing new products/services to ensure they comply with data protection legislation
• Leading and supporting during significant data breach incidents and suspicious events reported providing
• Giving approvals on privacy questions and sharing advice and guidance
• Overseeing and managing record retention and record strategy
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement with demonstrable experience of meeting the requirements of demanding clients

Candidates with the CIPP/E and/or the CIPM Qualifications and with a public sector background will be of particular interest, though this is not essential.
