IT General Controls Senior

Our client seeks a Senior IT SOX Auditor who is self motivated and a subject matter expert in risks and controls. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• Experience of an ITGC role within a Big 4/Top Tier firm
• Subject matter expert in risks and controls
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, experience with risk assessment, IT General controls, report testing and automated business process controls with exploration of manual controls and SOX control advisories
• Experience in the execution of an end-to-end SOX program - preferred
• Strong IT audit or IT controls experience
• Strong desire to travel (this role will involve on average 30% of the time travelling throughout the UK and world-wide)

Key deliverables and responsibilities of this role include:

• Assisting in the execution of IT SOX program
• Assisting in evaluating, reinforcing and promoting the SOX program
• Walkthroughs, testing, remediation, documentation, and reporting for IT controls, including IT General Controls, Automated Controls, Interfaces, Reports and End-User Computing Controls, IT tool testing
• Assisting in assessing the impact of IT on business and finance processes and much more
