Are you an ambitious, self-starter with a passion for shaping and delivering the future IT audit and risk strategy? Astrum Search is assisting a well known FTSE 100 business, in their quest to find an individual with initiative, drive, and ambition to join their rapidly growing audit function as an IT Audit Manager.

In this highly autonomous role, you will work closely with senior leadership across the group, including the Heads of IT and Finance Directors, to develop and execute IT audit plans for their businesses. You will provide direction and insight to them in defining the IT risk universe and defining a risk-based audit plan, while planning and executing the IT internal audit programme for the businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Complete IT audits in areas such as IT security, data protection, change management, access management and computer operations for applications, infrastructure, network and emerging technologies
• Provide IT assurance and expertise for critical projects and programs, to share expertise on risk and controls
• Collaborate on end-to-end audits with the financial auditors for Purchase to Pay, Sales to Cash, Inventory and other key business processes to identify risks and find efficiencies
• Work as part of a global audit team

The Successful candidate:

• Experience in external and/or internal audit, ideally working in the Big 4
• Experience in a role covering technology risk and IT audit, with specialist knowledge of IT risk management, IT controls, and information security
• Experience of performing business process walkthroughs and scoping relevant IT controls
• Experience of operating and engaging with business and IT leadership and building strong relationships
• The ability to communicate IT risks and threats to business stakeholders
• Professional certifications in, or working towards, IT/IT risk such as CISA is desirable
