Provides leadership and direction to global information research BTS areas on Information Security and Compliance policy, process, and procedures Develop the strategic approach and processes for our information security and compliance programs. Creates and implements the training strategy to provide consistent, global information security and sat compliance trainings across the multiple domain areas. Responsible for ensuring information research business solutions are in compliance with global regulated policies and procedures. Works closely with BTS Information Research Domain Team and BTS Global Compliance team representing Information Research in all cross–functional collaborations and conversations regarding Information Security and Compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage the Information Security and Compliance programs
  • Socialize programs with key stakeholders and their teams ensuring collaboration and process adoption.
  • Establish Goals and Priorities around the strategic initiatives for these areas.
  • Define and Track KPIs and Metrics to drive improvements within security and compliance areas of responsibilities.
  • Promote awareness of the Information Security and Compliance programs through Information Research.
  • Support IR Domain areas from an Information Security and SAT perspective.
  • Ensure Domains are aware of the security vulnerabilities, and they develop a remediation plan then ensure teams remediate and track events to closure.
  • Leads staff in the execution of security and compliance activities and defines effective ways to work cross–functionally with the teams.
  • Supporting teams with their security remediation plans ensuring teams are aligning to agreed schedules and timelines.
  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with BTS Information Research Domain teams.

Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree with 8 years experience; Master's Degree with 7 years experience; PhD with 3 years experience in the following areas: IT, Information/Cyber Security.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Information Security and the controls governing IT Business Applications.
  • Fundamental understanding of Pharmaceutical business.
  • Ability to explain Security concepts in simple terms to business and stakeholders.
  • Proven Influencing, Negotiating and Relationship Management Skills both technical and non–technical.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams.
  • Required: Experience in a quality systems environment and compliance, or equivalent combined work experience.
  • Required: Excellent analytical, judgment and consultative capabilities and communication skills and the ability to work with BTS management and staff.
  • Required: Executive presence and ability to communicate in terms that are understandable to Executive Management and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Required: Experience in strategy, planning and implementation.
  • Preferred: Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks effectively.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Research and Development.
