Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer (ArcSight Specialist)

Day Rate: Above market rate (disclosed on application)

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Contract Length: Initial 6–months (likely to be extended multiple times).

Hybrid Location: 2 days per week in Central London, 3 days remote.

About the Client and the Role:

My client, a globally renowned name in financial services is seeking an experienced Security Engineer with expert knowledge of ArcSight to join their Security Team on an initial 6–month (but fully expected to extend multiple times) basis.

The main function of the role is to perform Security Engineer duties, and on–top of this act as SME for ArcSight technology. Candidates require a significant level of knowledge and experience of ArcSight, including strong experience deploying & implementing ArcSight technology into large scale environments. Experience within financial/trading environment is extremely desirable.

Main Responsibilities:

• ArcSight Specialist: Act as subject matter expert for ArcSight throughout projects (integration, deployment, configuration etc.)
• Implementing security tools and processes
• Automate build, configuration and updates for security tools
• Supporting and m aintaining software and patch management for security products
• Encryption Key and Certificates management for security products.
• Integration of security capabilities – Scripting with Python, PowerShell etc.

Candidate Requirements:

• Expert level knowledge and hands–on experience with ArcSight
• Strong professional background in Security Engineering (supporting security in major environments)
• Knowledge of Security Tools (eg CyberArk, Carbon Black, McAfee, SIEM tools etc.)
• Understanding of automation and CI/CD pipelines (highly desirable)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of security standards, frameworks, best practices
• Strong skills Scripting with Python, PowerShell etc.
• Relevant Certification/Qualification (eg CISSP, ArcSight ESM)
