Salary Range: GBP55k to GBP65k (based on candidate experience) + bonus + benefits

Office Location: South West London

Hybrid Model: 1–3 days in the office each week (based on candidate experience)

About the Client and Role:

My client, a global events company is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join their newly formed in–house cyber security team, as part of a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.

This a great opportunity for cyber security all–rounders, as responsibilities of the role will cover several bases in cyber security, including the configuration of security tools, security analysis and monitoring of security incidents (SIEM), SOC duties, and development and implementation of security policies.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Configuration of security tools
• Deployment and support of operational cyber security tooling
• Monitoring alerts, logs and investigation of incidents
• Promoting and consulting on cyber security across the business
• Identify and assess emerging cyber security threats and vulnerabilities
• Develop and contribute to Security Operations Centre activities
• Assist in security penetration testing activities
• Development and implementation of information security (policies, processes, governance standards and frameworks)
• Advise stakeholders/departments on security requirements and controls, providing information security guidance across IT operations and new projects

Key Candidate Requirements/Skills:

• Experience configuring security technology
• Good knowledge ofSIEM tools
• Professional experience in Cyber Security Consultant/SOC Consultant/Security Analyst
• Related education (degree)/Certifications in Cyber Security
• Knowledge of security policies/frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
