A prestigious and long-standing financial services company is looking to grow their IT Audit team. They are looking for an German Speaking IT auditor or Senior IT Auditor to join the team based in Hamburg or Frankfurt, Germany. As well as joining a strong team and having the ability to grow throughout departments, the company offers a good compensation package including benefits and bonus.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent examination of the IT technical infrastructure of the application systems and internal IT processes with reference to current IT standards and banking supervisory requirements
• Identification of potential IT risks
• Preparation of the audit documentation and the audit report in English
• Responsibility for the discussion and follow-up of the audit results

What they are ideally looking for in you:

• Ideally experience in a banking environment
• Information security (BSI IT basic protection standard) and IT processes (ITIL, COBIT, BCM)
  • External requirements (MaRisk, BAIT, EBA guidelines, etc.)
  • Programming languages for data evaluation (Python, SQL) desirable
• Certification (e.g. CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP etc.) an advantage
• Fluent in spoken and written English and German
