Senior IT Auditor

Fox Global Partners is currently working a Fortune 500 company to recruit for a Senior IT Auditor to join a fantastic and diverse team of audit professionals who provide independent and objective assurance across all areas of the business. The company has grown rapidly over the last 25 years and is now well established as a Fortune 500 company who is profitable, growing internationally and renowned for their iconic brands

The Role

The Senior IT Auditor will be responsible for the end-end completion of strategic, operational audits in accordance with the organisations IT Audit Plan and the monitoring and reporting of their critical risk exposures and corporate governance responsibilities.

The ability to provide IT advice and recommendations to the business that are meaningful and appropriate for the business.

• Reviewing key operational processes and procedures and adherence to legislative requirements
• Coordination and management of the continuous audit program which includes providing ongoing review of critical controls governing fraud and compliance risk in accordance with the Audit Framework and assisting with the ongoing development of the Framework
• Providing advice and recommendations to management to develop and enhance IT internal controls and risk mitigation initiatives

Your Experience and Skills

To be successful within the Senior IT Auditor role, you would ideally have a good academic background , ideally with qualifications within Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related study

• Completion of CA, CISA, IIA or equivalent qualification
• Strong post graduate experience in a similar role or via top tier Chartered Accounting firm in the field of IT audit, internal controls or risk management.
• Strong experience with IT audit, data analytics and risk-based auditing
• Possess adequate experience performing IT risk assessment practices, change control, data privacy, and business continuity reviews
• Must have experience performing IT general controls, technology risk assessments, testing or auditing against technology standards or governance frameworks.
• Experience in IT processes, project management, applications, databases, operating systems, and network infrastructure to apply better practice guidance and identify opportunities for improvement.
