This position works within the infrastructure team responsible for the USMCA region (Americas, Canada, Mexico) & is a member of our Global Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CIRT). The Cyber Security Specialist will is responsible to ensure a secure platform operations, monitor the security for internal and external systems, identify vulnerabilities, resolve incidents, and initiate measurements for containment, solution, and preventions.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities, coordinate and monitor the handling of critical vulnerabilities within the TRUMPF Group and make the achieved system updates transparent.
  • Continuously develop the vulnerability management process and initiate measures for improvement.
  • Identify and assess cyber security incidents and initiate appropriate mitigation, resolution and prevention measures.
  • Define, coordinate and manage the implementation of incident response actions and lessons learned.
  • Accompany security assessments and audits such as penetration tests.
  • Advise internal customers/departments on the implementation of TRUMPF IT security standards in daily operations.
  • Create documentation for end user support or departmental support, design and provide training when needed
  • Be a member of our virtual global cyber security incident response team (CIRT)
  • On Call during off hours for IT Security Response team

Experience/Education

High School degree a must, associates or bachelors degree desired. Hands–on experience in one of the areas of vulnerability management, security incident handling, incident response, and forensics. In–depth knowledge of IT security infrastructure (including firewalls, endpoint protection, antispam, identity and access management, cloud security technologies, encryption technology, SIEM/MDR). Basic IT knowledge in the areas of infrastructure, operating systems, cloud, applications and secure application development are helpful for their daily work. Several years of professional experience in the field of IT security and ideally certification with a security focus such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH.
