Information Security Officer

We are excited to be recruiting for 2x Information Security Officers, both are newly created roles to support the business' growing Information Security roadmap. These are permanent roles paying up to £48,000 with fantastic employee benefits and hybrid working (2 days a week in Swindon).

The Role

The Information Security Officer is responsible for all aspects of Information Security, identifying and analysing security risk and providing alternative solutions to the business. Key responsibilities include:

• Identify, analyse and mitigate cyber, technical and personnel security
• Continuously review and improve on policies and processes
• Identify vulnerabilities and provide detailed escalation path to the relevant IT teams
• Advise business and key project stakeholders on implementing mitigation
• Scope out and design penetration tests, vulnerability assessments and other risk tests
• Contribute Security Awareness training and initiatives with the wider business
• Manage the incident response procedures and investigations of security incidents
• Ensure security is embedded in all stages of the application development life cycle

Skills & Experience

• Technical background with good understanding of IT infrastructure, technologies and principles
• Proven understanding of incident response, threat hunting, threat modelling, vulnerability management, penetration testing
• Professional security certification such as CompTIA Security+, BCS CISMP, SSCP or equivalent experience

Salary & Benefits

• Salary up to £48,000
• Hybrid working (2 days in Swindon office)
• Pension contribution (up to 26% from employer)
• 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
