IAC is helping an award winning professional services group hire a Technology Risk Director for its rapidly growing technology risk advisory service line. This is an unparalleled opportunity for an ambitious, strategic leader looking to fast-track their progression to partner.

Our client is a Top 10 firm with exciting future plans including acquisitions, new markets, and more.

From day one, you'll assume a high profile leadership role with the firm, reporting directly into a partner. This is a national role, delivering for clients up and down the UK.

While you'll inherit an established team and portfolio of ITGC related work, your priority will be developing technology risk advisory's commercial and operational strategy. You'll lead on key project delivery, and assume responsibility for client relationship management and growth. A passionate, high-impact approach is key.

Building the existing team's capacity through your leadership and coaching, you'll spearhead innovation in services and proposals. To achieve this, you'll rely on your well-rounded experience of technology risk advisory work, from external technology audit to cyber security and digital platform assurance. You'll leverage your experience with major frameworks like ISO and NIST to influence clients and key stakeholders and strengthen their overall risk posture.

Your clients will represent a broad range of UK industries, from multi-national corporates to some of the most exciting start-ups, fin-techs, and SMEs. The ability to meaningfully partner with clients from a range of backgrounds and provide a truly client focused service is crucial.

The team work from a Central London office 3-4 days per week. Some additional domestic travel is required.

Requirements include:

  • At least eight years' experience in IT Audit/Risk
  • A confident, assured style including immaculate presentation and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, ability to develop propositions and develop proposal documents
  • Evidence of significant leadership experience, including the management of direct reports
  • Equivalent accreditation such as CISA or CISSP
