Cyber Security Technical Design & Compliance Architect

Remote working, with travel to Milton Keynes, Watford and other locations along the M40 corridor.

Full UK driving licence & transport is essential

GBP65,000 – GBP70,000

As a Cyber Security Technical Design & Compliance Architect you are part of a diverse small Cyber Security team within a leading internationally advanced technology solution provider, working with varied customers in a diverse number of sectors (e.g., Finance, Manufacturing and Retail). The role is to work as part of the Technical Team on the design systems, providing expertise on the high– and low–level design, implementation and overall operation. Be part of the Technical Design Authority.

Duties:

  • Overall conformity within the scope of the Technical Design Authority by overseeing the technical design, implementation and operations.
  • Cross–check and control of technical design, rule protocol's, technical tools and configurations before go–live.
  • Creating internal build standards and ongoing assurance to conformance against.
  • To work closely with key teams within the business and across your client base to support the solution design, implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Working directly on client accounts, liaising with our customers and other third parties such as vendors, key suppliers, and business partners

Skills:

  • Good understanding of general cyber security principles i.e. least privilege and segregation.
  • Broad understanding of networking, system architecture, and applications hardening.
  • Understanding how technical configurations and the end–to–end service (infrastructure and systems).
