Head of IT Cyber Security & Infrastructure

R13 Recruitment are supporting a leading financial services business in their search for a Head of IT Cyber Security & Infrastructure to join them in Norwich. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team, ensuring an effective security strategy is maintained, and consistently upgraded and improved, aiding strong cyber security protection.

This position is offered on a full–time, permanent basis working Monday Friday. The offered salary for this opportunity is up to GBP70,000 depending on experience.

They are a well–respected and evolving city centre firm whose business model and strategy are underpinned by the provision of accurate and up to date information alongside strong ethics and a focus on providing a supportive team environment.

The day to day

• Overseeing both internal IT systems, as well as third–party software, ensuring a solid security strategy is maintained in line with company policy.
• Proactively improving security and products/policies, consistently improving internal security.
• Maintaining all IT systems, providing support to internal and external stakeholders and handling any associated issues in a timely manner.

You will have/be

• Degree–level qualification, ideally within IT/Software.
• Demonstratable experience in a similar role, with strong working knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Group Policy, Windows servers and desktop operating systems, Networking (Routers, Switches and Firewalls), VLANs and IP Routing.
• Experience with visualisation of Server and Desktop operating systems, and Next–gen firewall technologies.
• Proactive approach, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team, aiding their professional development.
