Our work depends on a Information Security Analyst to help support the Cybersecurity Branch of Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA. As an Information Security Analyst for the Cybersecurity Branch of NAWCWD, you will be responsible for ensuring the systems under your purview are kept current with regard to all security measures. HOW OUR INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Performing all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
Assisting the customer and/or contractor teammates with building or maintaining security documentation, policy, or procedures
Applying STIGs, patches, and software updates
Running scans and reports WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required): Security Clearance Level: Secret
Required Experience: 1 year
Education: BA/BS Degree (or equivalent experience)
Experience with DoD IT networks or systems
Experience mitigating network vulnerabilities
Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Location: Onsite at Point Mugu, CA PREFERRED SKILLS: Ability to communicate to senior level personnel
