Role:
  • Lead and execute IT audit engagements, including planning, scoping, and performing risk assessments.
  • Assess the effectiveness of clients' IT controls, processes, and systems to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Perform detailed testing of IT controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze IT systems, networks, and databases to identify potential weaknesses or vulnerabilities.
  • Evaluate IT governance and security Assess clients' IT governance framework, policies, and procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of information security controls and practices. Identify gaps in IT security infrastructure and recommend strategies to enhance data protection and privacy.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within IT systems and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Develop audit reports and recommendations: Prepare comprehensive and concise audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to communicate audit results and provide guidance on implementing recommended solutions.
  • Assist clients in developing action plans to address identified weaknesses and enhance their IT control environment.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide relevant and effective recommendations.
  • Project management and leadership.
  • Effectively manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, business stakeholders, and external auditors, to achieve audit objectives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT audit methodologies, tools, and templates.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably with a focus on large-scale organizations or financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT general controls, IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT), and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
  • Experience in conducting IT audits, risk assessments, and evaluating IT control environments.
  • Proficiency in utilizing audit software tools, data analytics, and visualization tools. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
