AERMOR is seeking a qualified Cybersecurity Engineer. Below, we have provided detailed information regarding required experience, education, and desired skills for the position. Required Skills and Experience:
Experience in leading and mentoring multiple teams and/or large groups.
Eight (8)+ years of experience on Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) projects with significant contributions in two or more of the following CS/IA areas:
CS/IA Compliance
Software Assurance and Security Engineering
Systems Security Architecture
Systems Security Analysis
Computer Network Defense (CND) Analysis
Threat Analysis; Exploitation Analysis.
Experience in leading one or more of the following CS/IA areas: CS/IA engineering design efforts to solve current or potential Fleet issues
Assessing CS/IA technology gaps
Lading design and fielding of CS/IA technologies
Leading or providing support to DoN and/or DoD CS/IA working groups
Creation and proposal of technical solutions to CS/IA gaps that have not previously existed, making significant contributions that impact future capabilities in the CS/IA Science and Technology domain.
Experience in assessing, analyzing, and providing recommendations to include CND, High Assurance, and ISSE for critical CS/IA capabilities covering Navy General Service(GENSER) National Service Systems (NSS) and Demand–based switching (DBS) including non–traditional Information System, combat weapons systems, shipboard aviation systems, Hull/Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Industrial Control Systems (ICS)/ Navy Control System (NCS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
One (1) year of experience is desired in Risk Management Framework (RMF), Navy RMF Process Guide, Cybersecurity Technical Authority (CS TA) Standards including Defense–in–Depth Functional Implementation Architecture (DFIA); CYBERSAFE; and Navy Cyber Situational Awareness (NCSA). Possess DoD Cyberspace Workforce (DCWF) Qualification and Management Program proficiency level of Intermediate or Advanced.Education / Certification Requirements: Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Profession (ISSEP) and/or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) (and/or other advanced Cybersecurity (CS)/ Information (IA) Assurance relevant certifications.
