Security Architect

We are currently recruiting for a Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure communication links and data flows for a project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical information assets. They will need a broad background, not limited to a single technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop existing risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Design and implement end–to–end security for a project, concentrating on communication links and data flows, in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for secure communications and data flows.
• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure a secure solution, driving decisions with necessary rigor.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders on secure communication links and data flows.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in secure communications and data flows and recommend appropriate solutions for the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in designing and implementing secure communication links and data flows.
• Strong technical skills in network security, encryption, and authentication protocols.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure VPNs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other teams and stakeholders.
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certification is highly desirable.
