Perform detailed information security assessments on information systems to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. These information security assessments would include but are not limited to application reviews, access controls, network reviews, and regulatory and other compliance reviews. Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor risks and implement timely cybersecurity solutions to prevent complications.
Perform artifact collection in real time to coincide with spiral development and develop and submit the associated accreditation package.
Develop the Security CONOPS including Security Plan
Complete accreditation package artifacts in Xacta in order to obtain any Authority to Operate (ATO), Authority to Connect (ATC) and Certificate to Field (CTF) for mission systems.
Ability to perform system scans and identify system vulnerabilities.
Draft, edit, maintain and provide input to local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Provide test and evaluation support for new technology. Prepare reports detailing the results of the test and evaluation including specific recommendations.
Support activities of the information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in developing in and enforcing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective deployment and maintenance of security technologies. Required qualifications: 10+ years of experience in related field.
CISSP certification
Active TS/SCI
Knowledge of basic communications, encryption, networking, IT systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Ability to test for vulnerabilities, and monitor networks to support test and operational environment requirements.
Ability to develop and disseminate network and cybersecurity status reports, metrics, briefings, or ad hoc reports and presentations as directed by the Government for technical and non–technical audiences.
