Position: Information Security and Network Engineer

Duration: 12 Months +

Rate: Open

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Architect, implement and provide ongoing management of corporate and engineering networks for DSSD.
  2. Facilitates and drives the design and implementation of enterprise IT infrastructure security, processes, standards and assessments.
  3. Support and maintain DHCP, DNS and LDAP infrastructures.
  4. Develop and maintain procedures and documentation.
  5. Ensure all requests/tickets are handled in a timely fashion.
  6. Identify areas of improvement, including follow–through to resolution.
  7. Analyze performance metrics and anticipate future network capacity requirements.
  8. Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events.
  9. Interface with Global Security Organization to design and implement viable solutions for engineering connectivity.

Requirements:

  1. In–depth knowledge of routing, switching and network security.
  2. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP v4/v6 and troubleshooting.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills.
  4. Able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  5. Hands–on experience implementing and maintaining enterprise firewall, IDS and VPN deployments.
  6. Customer service focused and a team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  7. Experience with single sign–on (SSO) technologies and LDAP.
  8. Strong knowledge of DNS and DHCP.
  9. Hands–on experience in the installation and configuration of Linux and/or VMware vSphere environments.
  10. Experience with OSPF, BGP, MPLS and/or VRFs.
  11. Experience with layer 2 protocols such as LACP, VLAN, 802.1d/w/s, 802.11x.
  12. Experience in wireless, mobile, infrastructure and/or application level vulnerability testing, remediation, risk assessment and auditing.
  13. Off hour support/maintenance based on business requirements.

Preferred:

  1. Python and/or Shell scripting skills.
  2. Knowledge of Mac OS client environments.
  3. Experience in administering and securing Google Apps and AWS deployments.
  4. Strong working knowledge of Arista, Aruba and/or Palo Alto Networks.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  2. 5+ years security and/or networking administration experience in a heterogeneous environment.
