This person will be our go–to for making sure our employees' systems are securely maintained while minimizing friction for internal teams. The ideal candidate should be ready and willing to come up with innovative solutions leveraging the newest technologies to address unique problems. Responsibilities

  • Provide support for all things IT and Security to our employees
  • Implement an asset management program
  • Experience operating, troubleshooting, installing, and configuring endpoint security solutions
  • Deploy and maintain various security tools on all endpoints
  • Configure endpoint managers/consoles
  • Work with application engineers to understand and implement continuous improvement processes, automation, system upgrades, and rollouts
  • Work with engineers to solve complex issues
  • Write custom scripts to introduce automation and reduce the need for human intervention
  • Audit system resources and take action as necessary
  • Responsible for scheduling, testing, and implementing enhancements or new releases of the endpoint security stack
  • Aid in the creation of policy and standard operating procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience managing client–server architectures
  • Familiarity with standard security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO, etc.)
  • Strong problem–solving and analytical skills, demonstrating poise and calmness in high–pressure situations
  • Fundamental understanding of accepted security practices, troubleshooting issues, attack vectors, and customer support
  • Operational knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, and Android Operating Systems
  • Experience with public cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Strong understanding of Network Protocols
  • Security certifications are encouraged

The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits. Our salary and equity ranges are highly competitive within the SaaS and fintech industry, updated regularly using reliable compensation survey data. New hire offers are based on a candidate's experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.

Our target new hire base salary ranges for this role are the following:

  • US employees in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle: $126,700 – $149,000 USD
  • US employees outside of these cities: $114,000 – $134,100 USD
  • Canadian employees (any location): CAD 115,300 – 135,600
