Information Security & Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary:
The Information Security & Infrastructure Engineer is tasked with hands–on development, implementation, and maintenance of the bank's security infrastructure. This technical expert will ensure system robustness and will craft solutions for seamless integration with partner platforms like NCR Digital Insight, COCC, Fiserv, and FIS, emphasizing fault tolerance and disaster recovery planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer secure, resilient infrastructure solutions that align with FFIEC standards, focusing on GCP and partner banking platforms.
- Write and maintain scripts to automate security processes, integration tasks, and operational procedures.
- Construct and maintain fault–tolerant systems to ensure uninterrupted service and design comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
- Develop fraud detection and prevention systems by implementing cutting–edge security protocols and code.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to develop technical integrations and security alignments across various banking platforms.
- Conduct in–depth risk assessments, particularly for fraud risks, and respond to incidents with a focus on minimizing impact and recovery time.
- Stay abreast of the latest in security technology and banking platform developments to recommend improvements and enhancements.
- Manage and optimize cloud services, particularly within GCP, for performance, cost, and security.
- Develop and document clear and detailed system and process documentation to guide future infrastructure enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to provide updates on infrastructure health and security status.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Relevant technical certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, or CISM.
- Strong coding and scripting skills with proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- At least three years of hands–on experience in IT infrastructure and security engineering, with a proven track record in cloud–based environments and financial services.
- Experience in designing fault–tolerant systems and implementing disaster recovery strategies.
- Expertise in the deployment and management of IT solutions across various platforms, including in–depth knowledge of GCP services.
- A proactive problem–solver with strong analytical skills and a detail–oriented approach to system engineering.

Starting Rate: $3,076.92 – $3,269.23/Biweekly, which annualizes to $80,000 – $85,000
