Security Analyst

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer–oriented Technical Direction Letter Manager (Multiple levels) to join our team in the DMV area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Analyzing the authorization controls being implemented in IT systems to satisfy organizational policies.
2. Provide analysis on systems and make recommendations on approvals for IATT and ATO requests.
3. Takes direction from more senior team members.
4. Collaborate and work with other Security Analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field.
2. Two or more (2+) years of related experience.
3. If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required.
4. If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in an IT–related discipline.
2. Relevant industry standard certifications such as CSSP(IR), CEH, CySA+, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA–Security.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have an active/current Top Secret Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
2. Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
3. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
4. The person in this position frequently communicates with co–workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
5. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
