Overview:
The Agile Cybersecurity IT Specialist should have the demonstrated ability to act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational projects and to develop and recommend long range goals and objectives. In addition to being able to to design, research and develop highly advanced new technological applications resulting in new projects which require major decision making recommendations. This role will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. The Agile Cybersecurity IT Specialist t analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. They will ensure that the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints and perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Candidate must be capable of evaluating hardware/software deliveries for installation into operational baseline.
Responsibilities:
Running reports.
Deployment activities within data security.
Working on tickets, incoming requests, processing requests.
Documentation and communication.
Working with the Agile team members focusing on Data security tasks.
Tasks include monitoring and analyzing data to prevent unauthorized access, use, or transmission of sensitive information.
Assist in configuring and managing tools and policies, reviewing alerts for potential data breaches, and investigate incidents to determine their cause and impact.
Collaborate with other IT and security teams to implement corrective actions and improve data protection strategies.
Qualifications:
Required Technical Skills:
10+ years of expereince working on large scale Data security and Cybersecurity projects.
A background in Engineering is a must.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and discover root cause.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles, basic system administration, basic scripting.
Customer service orientedAttention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing alerts, investigating issues and documenting.
Problem–Solving: Capable of developing solutions to assist the team in preventing data loss and improving user outcomes.
Communication: Effective in educating employees and collaborating with IT teams.
Willingness to learn.
Desired Skills:
Cybersecurity certificates, desired.
Understanding of Aigle practices.
Understanding of Data Loss Prevention principles and tools.
CI/CD pipeline experience.
DevOps Experience.

Wage Data Per State Requirements:
The salary range for this position is $73,200.00 – $91,520.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
