Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Director of IT and Cybersecurity is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. The Sr. Director works with the CTO and Executive Management to grow the company using technological resources. Using an active and practical approach, the Sr. Director will direct all employees in IT departments to attain the company's strategic goals established in the company's strategic plan. This position is accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization's enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and cybersecurity architecture.
Key performance objectives in order of priority are:
SLA - Set, meet and obtain Service Level Agreements for overall network stability and availability as set forth by management. Collaboration - Maintain near and long-term infrastructure capacity needs by creating and maintaining relationships with executive management, clients and business units. Ownership and Accountability - Intrinsic sense of ownership of all tasks, projects and duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will have direct reports and non-direct reports. Direct reports include leads and/or managers in the Infrastructure Department which includes Systems Administration, Network, Systems, and Security.
WORK ENVOIRNMENT:
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, copy machines and filing cabinets. At times, this position may need to lift computer equipment unassisted at 100lbs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and order cleanup is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL:
This position requires less than 10% travel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the CTO to establish the strategic direction of IT, directly influencing the business direction in new and existing products and systems as well as upcoming integration efforts with new acquisitions.
- Participate in the development of the strategic information technology plan, processes and solutions.
- Develop and manage IT business plans and budget plans that support both the long-term and the short-term objectives of the company.
- Maintain project controls that accurately reflect completed work against project plans, schedules and budgets, and ensure user/management involvement at appropriate milestones.
- Direct the development and reporting of performance metrics and direct actions to continuously improve managing the business of IT.
- Ensure that projects meet clients' and users' business needs and expectations of quality.
- Evaluate external advancements in the IT industry to improve customer/user satisfaction, reduce operating expenses and maximize revenues.
- Works in a consultative fashion with other department heads as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conducts research and case studies on leading edge technologies and makes determinations on the probability of implementation.
- Acts as the Chief HIPAA Compliance Officer by keeping OSIS security and compliance up to date as well as reporting breeches and determining course of action.
- Leads strategic cybersecurity planning to achieve organizational goals by prioritizing defense initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future cybersecurity technologies.
- Establishes staff personal development goals and objectives aligned with the skills necessary to ensure personal, departmental, and organizational success.
- Advises the CTO and senior leadership on enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity strategy, risks, and data privacy.
- Provides the leadership in the development and maintenance of the organization's cybersecurity plan.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures, and associated plans for system administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices.
- Implements changes in cybersecurity policies and practices in accordance with changes in the local or federal law.
- Assesses the impact of new service requests on network security and provides solutions balancing customer needs with network security best practices.
- Identify, justify, and prioritize annual budget for capital and operating resources to meet organizational needs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science in related field and at least 10 years' experience in the Information Technology arena
- At least 5 years management and strategic experience in the technology arena
- Previous experience in a managed services environment or similar fieldwork preferred
- Ability to proactively monitor and maintain production environments with a focus on IT environmental health
- Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to track, log and document customer interactions and follow-up procedures and to document findings and create walkthrough documentation
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote or home-office environment
- Understanding and familiarity with remote troubleshooting tools and methods
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical support/network-admin role supporting:
- Windows Servers (2016, 2019, and 2022)
- Windows Active Directory, Domain Controllers and Group Policy.
- Microsoft Server Applications such as Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, IIS etc.
- DNS, DHCP, FTP, SNMP, SMTP, IP, SSH, Telnet, NTP, SMB, WINS, HTTP and HTTPS protocols and services
- Understanding of Hyper-V, VMware other virtualized environments
- Task automation and configuration management utilities such as, Windows PowerShell commands
- Experience with 3rd party software installation and support
- Working knowledge and remediation of Antivirus and Anti-Malware software and infections
- Variety of Enterprise Firewalls, routers, switches and VPN appliances such as FortiGate, Meraki, or Cisco
- Backup and DR services experience such as Veeam
- Strong network and infrastructure architecture, troubleshooting and support
- Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills
- Must demonstrate a security-minded focus and execution of all related MSP tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability and willingness to be on-call
- Microsoft 365 deployment and security
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent network knowledge.
- Fortinet Products - FortiGate, FortiEMS, FortiAnalyzer.
- Microsoft MCSE or equivalent server knowledge.
- Experience with Azure Stack HCI.
- Experience with HP Blade and Chassis systems.
- Experience with HP, Nimble, and Pure storage systems.
- Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise in a Clustered Environment
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in healthcare related field
- Experience working with non-profits
